Hi, I’m Jamie Willis, an artist based in Pahiatua, New Zealand. I specialise in drawing wildlife, with a particular love for endangered animals and New Zealand’s unique native birds.Working primarily with coloured pencil on pastelmat or paper, I enjoy slowly layering colour to capture the rich textures and character of each animal.My work celebrates the beauty of wildlife and aims to encourage a deeper appreciation for the species we share our world with.I offer commissions for pet portraits and small memento commissions like wedding bouquet artwork.
